The Sector 15 Clean-Up and Restoration – Faridabad project was a focused initiative aimed at improving sanitation, greenery, and public infrastructure in one of the city’s most densely populated neighborhoods. Launched on 24 April 2025, the project addressed critical issues such as unmanaged solid waste, clogged drains, and overgrown vegetation that had been impacting public health and safety.
Over a span of approximately 25 days, a dedicated team of 10 to 15 workers carried out daily clean-up and maintenance activities, covering nearly half of Sector 15. The work included systematic street cleaning, drainage clearing, tree pruning, and proper disposal of collected waste. The project not only enhanced the visual appeal of the area but also improved hygiene, accessibility, and the overall quality of public spaces—demonstrating the positive impact of community-focused urban restoration efforts.

What We Did
Over the course of 25 days, our team conducted a comprehensive clean-up and restoration effort across the most affected areas of Sector 15. With 10 to 15 workers deployed daily, we carried out tasks such as street and open-area cleaning, solid waste collection and disposal, drainage line clearing to improve water flow, and pruning of overgrown trees and shrubs. This coordinated effort covered approximately 40–50% of the locality, transforming neglected zones into cleaner, safer, and more accessible public spaces.
Outcomes
The project delivered tangible improvements across Sector 15, resulting in a cleaner, more organized urban environment. A total of 191 man-days of labor led to the successful clean-up of nearly half the sector, restoring functionality to clogged drainage lines and significantly reducing waste accumulation. Pruned vegetation enhanced visibility and safety in public areas, while the overall effort improved hygiene conditions and community morale. Residents reported a noticeable uplift in the livability of their surroundings, reflecting the positive impact of targeted, on-ground intervention.
